1. Dewayne offers you (lol) Gervin and Foots for Hudson and Money. What do you say?
"not sure if srs" would be my first reaction. I guess it's not that bad the more you look at it considering hudson's age but he's too good for me right now and i just value Money way more than foots. I think Money will eventually be a top 5 player in the league.
2. Is Paul Westphal the most underrated player in BBS?
I believe so, he's just so productive and efficient. I mean, we got people saying they wouldn't have traded Dennis Johnson for him, that kind of says it all. When he's in the starting lineup, he's at the very least a 25 ppg with over 50% shooting. People want to say scoring wing players are a dime a dozen but i don't see any of them doing it on Westphal's efficiency so i don't see why people feel the need to knock him for other stuff he doesn't do.
3. Bulls send: Fred Brown, Gus Williams. Lakers send: Eric Money, Lou Hudson. Who says no, and why?
Hmmm, i'm not really sure. I know play really loves Money but i also know he really loves Gus, probably more than i do. He's also always loved Lou and Fred Brown is like my baby, i always regretted trading him for some reason in that Kaj deal. I think play probably says no though cause he's trying to win now and Fred Brown is both younger and better than Lou and Gus isn't really that much of a downgrade over Money, if he even is one at this point. So yea, play would probably be the one to shoot it down if anyone.
4. If you had Ricky Sobers and he were expiring, would you max him?Yea, i'd probably max him. Not because I'd keep him at that max or cause i value him there, but i think he can easily garner you some assets if you were to trade him right after signing him. There will probably be a few other gm's who would max him so I don't see why I wouldn't. At the very least, i can AC him with all these interviews i'm doing and turn him into a max worthy player. Pretty easy decision for me here.
5. Rank these GMs: You, Nanz, Jordan, Aar, Martinez, HF.
6. me - I just haven't done anything other than one fluky finals appearance I've had. I feel like i've done well over the past few seasons without relying on a tank job or anything, but I've made good trades which is a good sign. I used to make some pretty bad ones.
5. Martinez - I don't even think he's that good, but he's won a ship so i put him here by default. Spence gives him advice for any little question he has. The fact he had to go ask spence for advice on that rape trade me and him did (at least at the time it was a rape) for Walt Frazier says it all.
4. HF - He's good when he's motivated, that's why i put him ahead of Marty. Plus, he doesn't ask Spence for advice.
3, AAr - He's done well in the past but hasn't really done much since his later stages with Hornets. He's got a solid team now, but he hasn't made a team elite in a while.
2. Jordan - He's a good gm, he's won ships and he's been in the playoffs almost every year for the last 10 it seems. Just constantly puts out good teams.
1. Nanz - That team he has now is so sick and he's won a lot in previous stints here so that's why have him as the best among this list.
6. Sixers send: George Gervin, Greg Smith. Warriors send: Jojo White. Who says no, and why?
I think 76'ers say no. It's one of the few trades that probably makes sense for both, Jojo is a beast. I've seen CC post some trade blocks where he's looking to get younger and that cowens/parish trade pretty much shows he's looking to follow through with that so i wouldn't really see CC rejecting a trade for George Gervin. He'd get younger and Gervin looks like he'll be sick in the future one he's probably done tanking.
7. Is Tom McMillen better than Bob Love right now?
Who the fuck is Tom McMillen? Now i have to go look him up, ugghh. I'd probably pick Bob Love, they both shoot good percentages and all but i i've never seen McMillen put up the type of numbers Bob Love has put it up and with rebounding being so important, i'd probably want McMillen anyways. Love is only one year removed from putting up 26 ppg though and I don't know why he's fallen off this season, but i'd probably go with him.
8. Finish this sentence.
When it's all said and done, George McGinniss will be a player wasted in his prime due to J's reluctance to trade him during his prime and J's reluctance to put anything great around him.
9. The Pistons have won 13 of 19, and 17 of their 26 remaining games are in Detroit. Can Chicago hold them off without making an impact move?
Bulls need to make a move ASAP. The pistons have been hot and Bulls have been falling. The way things are going, I think Bulls need to be more concerned with catching Heat than worrying about Pistons. I think Pistons will pass them regardless the way they're going. I feel like it's going to be between Heat and Bulls. He needs to improve that defense though.
10. Pistons send: John Block. Sixers send: Darryl Dawkins, expiring. Who says no, and why?
Sixers send no, cause a big that can't block seems to ruin his value in this league unless you're some kind of elite scorer. Dawkins blocks and scores at an admirable rate so I'm not sure that would be an upgrade overall anyways. Plus Dawkins probably has more value and is a better "name" than Block is at this point. He can probably get something better for Dawkins which is why he'd probably be the one to say no.
11. One thing you think most guys would be surprised to know about you.
I'm actually calm and hate drama. I like to avoid conflicts, but i guess i see red when guys start taking jabs and i post before i think sometimes. For the most part i'm chil, but when something does get on my nerves i usually tend to go overboard with my retaliation. Basically, as long as you don't try and shit on my players or post something on the forum that is just so retarded, everything's coo.
