In this article, we will be talking to HF, the former GM of the Bobcats, Wizards and for the 4th time, GM of the Heat. I think it's 4. I lost count. Anyways. He's sporting a .441 winning percentage (1232-1556) and is coming off 5 straight winning seasons with Washington. Enough intro, let's get to the questions:
1. How did you feel about moving from Washington to Miami?
I loved doing the move simply because the Heat are my favorite team. It motivates me more to make the Heat a contender since I wouldn't want them to have a bad reputation in the league. idk.
2. Did you think hype did a good job with Miami and why?
Yeah, hype did a good job building a contender. he just couldn't find the pieces to take him to the next level. He handed me a great position with almost all my picks and KAJ/Carr. Easily could rebuild or win with the team I started with.
3: You stayed in the Central when you switched teams. What are your thoughts on the division compared to the Atlantic?
I think I stayed in the same division? But yeah, Atlantic is tough with repole, nanz and skillz in the same division. Central has 2 top GMs in the league as well, and uk has done a great job. So i feel like both these divisions are easily matched.
4. What do you expect to get back from a deal involving Carr?
I am looking for a package of youth/firsts. He's a top scorer in the league and some may even consider him a star. But teams are gonna complain about too many SGs in the league and shit, so I won't get equal value back.
5. The Heat have to real building player past Carr. Agree or disagree and why?
We easily have 2 other building players. I wouldn't have traded KAJ for Sobers and Drew if I didn't think they would be special. Sobers just need handling help and he'll be a top PG, and the post pad+this AC is going to him. I might have to work on Drew as well, but we'll see how he sims the rest of the season.
6. Going back to Washington, any advice to whoever the new guy may be?
Just stay the course and rebuild, you already have a great PF that's young, and possibly 2 lotto picks. Deal CJ for a pick or two and you'll have like 6 picks in the next few seasons.
7. You had a winning season for the last 5 seasons in Washington and 6 out of 9 overall, including a finals run. Do you feel you did a good job?
I think I had an elite team in Washington for a while, and we never really won as many games as we were capable of. But I got the Wizards 6 of their 17 playoff appearances and got them to their first finals, so I guess you could say I did a good job.
8. You've never won a title in BBS and some GM's have gone as far as to say you never will. Why are they wrong?
i'm the best gm in the league why would i not win a title lol.
9. Who is the most overrated/underrated GM in BBS?
skillz is the most overrated, and dj is most underrated. skillz is a top gm, but I don't think he's good enough to be in that upper tier of GMs with repole and play. he's good though.
dj's last 7 seasons.

10. Let's get this out of the way. You have beef with Broph. Why?
He's a baby back bitch.
11. What was your biggest beef with the "50 most valuable players" article?
NVL shouldn't have been that high, obviously. I also think Carr should have been a little higher than people he was slotted lower than.
12: The Heat are down 2-1. Thoughts?
If we don't win this game we're done. I feel like LeBron is gonna have a huge game though. lol nvm we're playing like shit as i type this. holy shit wtf, we have no movement on offense. please let us win.
13: BBS champs will be...
it's hard to pick against the Magic really, but I feel like the Bobcats can take them down and then go onto the finals to lose to the Nuggets. Mcglockin >
14: Who are your favorite GM's in the league and why?
play, styro, andy, habes etc, basically anyone who keeps the league
15. Favorite Jordans?
Black Cement 3s are my favorite. I wear my pair a lot, and plan to get another pair soon.
Thank you HF. So what we've learned today is that:
- HF wants to do one of these to Broph:
- He loves these shoes (which I do as well)
and that he'll eventually win a title.
Hope you guys enjoyed it. We'll be seeing you, hopefully shortly, with another chips sponsored VIP room! Also please remember to buy some brilliant kettle cooked Lays!
