Going to try to take stats, ratings, age, contracts into account. Be aware that these rankings could be an over reaction negatively or positively because it's just the first sim. Don't kill me.
1. Wilt Chamberlain- Duh. I have him above Oscar because posts >>>>> *
2. Oscar Robertson- You know you're really, really good when you're flirting with a triple double pretty much every night.
3. Bill Russell- Tentatively have him here because he's just breaking out now. I see him leveling out to around 25 PPG 13 RPG 4 APG 4 BPG. If he keeps up this type of production, I might even consider taking him over Wilt.
4. Jerry West- Another guy throwing near triple doubles almost every night.
5. Hal Greer- Lower than the Logo because of age.
6. Chet Walker- The worst #1 pick in years according to Styro. lol.
7. Johnny Green- Absolutely ridiculous from the field. 0.3 turnovers? Crazy. Plus he's on a real sweetheart deal.
8. Elgin Baylor- I feel like he does a few more things than Green, but Green's areas of strength are just so good that I can't put Elgin over him.
9. Jerry Lucas- A young post putting up 24 PPG 12 RPG 3 BPG and doesn't miss free throws? Yikes. I would've considered putting him below Greer if he wasn't expiring.
10. Horace Walker- Can you tell I like post players a lot? Being expiring is his only drawback.
11. Dave DeBusschere- He's nice. Could use some shot blocking though. Originally went to Bucks roster to see how Larry Jones was doing and found Dave too.
12. Larry Jones- Probably going to be the best player from his draft class.
13. Connie Dierking- Damn near 5 BPG and he's efficient as fuck.
14A. Purnell Jackson- 5 time MVP. Nuff said.
14B KC Jones- Slightly lower than Purnell because of playoff success.
14C Bradley Barker- Putting up shitty percentages right now compared to the two above him, but he always starts slow.
17. Al Attles - His FG and FT% are crap. No complaints about anything else.
18. Don Ohl- Offensive dynamo. Very nice contract too.
19. Rudy LaRusso- Have no idea why he's not playing. Good thing everyone knows what he can do. I'd have him over Dierking if he was playing.
20. Hot Rod Hundley- Overlooked him because he's not scoring as much so far this season, but the percentages are still on point and the ratings look sexy as ever.
21. Guy Rodgers- Assists are on the low side.
22. Sam Jones - Starting to delve into the old guys a lot more here. Good contract.
23. Frank Ramsey- The role model for 2-way players everywhere.
24. Bob Petit- Draws foul like it's going outta style. Needs to step up the FG% though.
25. Jacquez Knight- Still ballin', til the day he dies. You can bring your crew but he remains true. Old as fuck, but that's a nice expiring contract.
