Oscar is leading the way with 36.3 points a game.
Oscar Robertson is leading the way early in the season in scoring with a 36.3 average after seven games. In the last game he went down with a bruised hip and will miss five games. However thus far into the season he has already poured in one 50 point effort. Right now Oscar is off to his best start of his career and we have to wonder if the addition of Dan Ohl is the cause of that. Together the duo is averaging 70 points a game. We see no reason as to why they can't keep that up all year long. One other note regarding Oscar, you have to love when your small forward averages more boards than your starting power forward. This team will be pouring in the points all year long.
Walker leads the 8-1 Denver Nuggets team.
Through the first sim there are no more unbeaten teams left in the league, but we do have the Denver Nuggets team ahead of the pace. They are led by the trio of Green, Knight and Walker. The pleasant surprise of the bunch is the athlete turned basketball player Horace Walker. Thus far into his career Walker has never shown this offensive potential, he is averaging 23 points a game and 12.6 boards a game. Also you can't overlook the fact that he is shooting at a great pace with a clip of 511%. This Nuggets team is off to a great start for what hopes to be a great season in Denver.
#1 Draft pick Walt Hazzard and the Warriors off to a slow start.
In recent years it seems that the number one picks get off to a slow start, this year is no different. Over the past two years the Warriors hit the blow up button and started the rebuilding process in Golden State. In the past draft they came away with Walt Hazzard and Tom Hoover as lottery selections. Thus far the preseason was a lot more inviting for these two. Hazzard right now is turning the ball over at an alarming rate and Hoovers scoring and rebounding don't seem up to par. Leading the Warriors in scoring is old face Nehemiah Harrison who can score with the best of them but doesn't play a lick of defense. Warriors are off to a good start to another top three selection in what hopes to land them a dynamic player.
Soul Brother #41 Ira Harge
Looking at the scope of the injuries thus far into the season the only major one is Ira Harge who has a bulging disc in his back and will miss the next 49 days. Harge was the ninth pick overall in the draft and was off to a decent start to the season, making an impact on the teams defense. Harge is only twenty two years old and it's really a shame for him to already have back problems, hopefully for the Grizzlies Alf can step up and produce minimal stats as this team appears content in its rebuilding process.
Sometimes you never know what google will give you.
Last year in training camp no one really expected Quitman Sullins to do much, but he exploded into a bonafide starter. Sullins is out to prove that not only does he love huge tits, but he can rebound with the best of them. He is grabbing 16.3 boards a game on a team that really needs help on the boards as his front court mate is Wally Dukes. The Celtics have great swing men in Attles, Green and Hollis who do all the shooting, all their asking of Sullins is grab the boards. If the Celtics team can upgrade that center spot this team would look a lot better. Either way sometimes pointing out that you have huge tits is always nice and remember kids stop teen pregnancy, do anal.
You know Russell loves it out West.
Last but not least how can we overlook Bill Russell. Coming into this season Russell has only averaged over twenty points just once in career, last year. Russell has never averaged over 15 rebounds in his career, never averaged over 5 assists a game, nor top 48 percent from the field. That's how good of a start that he is off to. Now it's likely these numbers will tail off some and come back down to his averages but his scoring is quite encouraging thus far for the Thunder. The Thunder didn't really trade much for Russell but looking at the roster you have to wonder when their going to flip him for more talent. Cousy is 35, Lynch is 36, Jordan is 35, Valentine keeps getting worse and still has 38 million dollars left on his contract. The Cavs? 4-4 on the season with George Lee leading the way in scoring for the team.
