A Pigpen Exclusive
Ever wondered how you compare to a GM in this league? Think you're better than a certain GM? Well welcome to the BBS matchup thread where we will come to a conclusion on who the best BBS GM in the league is.
Here is how it works. Seedings will be based on current regular season records and be broken into 4 different brackets. For all intensive purposes, I will exclude myself leaving us with 28 GM's. In order to get to 16 the first round will give out a buy to each of the division leaders, giving us 12 first round match ups. Seedings will move from 1 in Division to 2 seed in the next division, to 3rd seed in the next division and so on.
For example let us look at the Nova bracket.
Lumley being the current division leader of the Atlantic gets the first seed and the buy. Play being 2nd in the Central gets the second seed, Greeme being 3rd in the Midwest gets the third seed and so on. Note: since the Atlantic has 6 teams and the central 8 I'm moving styro into my slot in the Atlantic.
7 seeds per bracket. 1 plays the 4 vs 5 winner, etc. You'll get the jist of it. Here are the brackets.
NOVA Bracket
1. Lumley.
2. Play
3. Greeme
4. Scott
5. Skillz
6. Biggie
7. DBW

NOVA Bracket.
FINAL MATCHUP
2. Play beats 5 Skillz.
It my opinion one of the easier brackets to get through. Skills lack of a final appearance somewhat put this one in the coffin for him. The final four of this region were Lumley, Play, Greeme and Skillz. Greeme vs Biggie was an interesting matchup to say the least.
BLUE Bracket.
FINAL MATCHUP
5.DJ beats 3. Basone
This bracket didn't have a lot of juggernaut match ups here. The second hardest matchup here for me was in the final four between Jordan and Dan as I truly don't know who is better. Although Dan really hasn't been hot as of late he does have a ring and Jordan kind of showed up late to the show. Aar somewhat has the same resume as Dan but the latter looked more successful.
One of the hardest match ups of this if not the hardest was DJ vs Broph. Broph is so actively involved in BBS were DJ is not. DJ's resume is just too tough to argue against though as there are a shit load of bold records in his profile.
GALO Bracket
FINAL Matchup
7. Manas beats 1. Insane
Really tough bracket here. All first round matches except Nanz crushing Jeff in the first round every one of these was tough. Insane for me is easily the weakest number 1 seed but to me his ride to the finals was fairly easy. The bottom of this bracket was sooo tough. Aaron and Manas was really tough and going against Nanz would be tougher. Manas's two rings over stellar playoff records eventually triumphed to the finals. Insane for me was never really an elite GM but has come on real strong late, however Manas has always been solid IMO so I gave him the nod. Really damn tough though all around.
I think Aaron, Nanz or Manas would beat Insane in the finals, just my opinion though.
MANIAC Bracket
Final Matchup
1. Mark defeats 7. Hype
Easiest bracket. Really no huge matchups to discuss here.
I'm on an IPad and kinda fucked up some of the commentary and match ups. Nothing that could screw up the final four though. I will go and make a new post about the errors in the next thread, I don't know how to scroll up though on this fucking thing. The GM's that I screwed up with are Jah, DBW, Greg and potentially DBW. Minor shit that doesn't effect the overall Finals though.
Will post each brackets results in new posts.
Final Four will be
2. Play vs 5. DJ
7. Manas vs 1. Mark
Wait till I post the overall results and I will be happy to answer any questions.
