I'd like for all BBS members to stop judging and start trying out new foods from a variety of cultures. Don't judge marty because he likes falafels, don't hate on persians just because they eat food that looks like diarrhea, don't laugh or call someone a woman because he doesn't like steak.
I just feel like BBS is more than this, and we should start to accept different cultural foods.
So, what I've decided to do is to assign each member to a city, nation, continent, or ethnicity, and for each person to talk about a meal from that place/group and appreciate how great it is.

Ashes - Jews

Mark - Australia
Dan - USA
Nova - New York City
Andrew - Russia
This should help everyone gain an understanding of what different cultures eat, and ultimately it should give everyone an appreciate of other foods.

I'll start it off. When people think of Iceland, they immediately disregard their food as frozen items. And this assumption is true. In fact, Iceland is probably most well known by their Ice cream! www.iceland.co.uk/category/view/10/Frozen+food_Ice+creamAs you can see, Iceland Ice cream is at a reasonable price in Iceland. Everyone loves ice cream. I have never met someone who does not like ice cream unless they are lactose intolerant. |
